I am so tired. It's either all the work I've been doing, or the food I ate today. Most likely a combination.
My husband loves chocolate cake and I decided to make him the almond flour [affiliate link] one that I've made before. It turned out decadent and delicious. I also made cashew ice cream. Hubby was very delighted with the cake. I made only a single layer cake and it was plenty for the four of us, with some left over. In the past we'd have made a double layer cake and snacked on it for a couple of days. (Cocoa/chocolate is not GAPS legal).
Dinner was crock pot roast, Faux-Tatoes, gravy and salad.
Yesterday and today I washed several loads of clothing which had been piled up in my bedroom. I went through and folded and sorted and have a couple of piles in my vehicle, ready to donate to the nearest Goodwill, Savers or clothing donation box I come across. It is hard work decluttering!
I'm getting rid of clothes that don't fit anymore. Interesting how easy it is to get rid of “too big” clothing. It's almost like I feel if I keep the larger clothes I am jinxing myself, and I will gain the weight back. Whereas when I kept the smaller sizes I felt like I was holding onto hope that I'd lose weight someday.
I'm all confused about calories. I keep wanting to think eating less calories will cause me to lose weight. After seeing how much fat Bee's diet recommends, I am a bit in shock.
I'm tired. And I took a nap today. I have to work tomorrow so I had better get to bed. Maybe I'm so tired because I was up at 4am this morning?
